Description

On the Third Day of National Astronomy Week, I try to depict the flyby of the Pioneer 10 spacecraft. Specifically its flyby of Io in December 1973. Pioneer 10 was the first mission to ever reach the Jovian system, so I thought it fitting to have a go at it. Its currently heading off into interstellar space. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pioneer_…
